Okaiken is a journal that was began in early 2014 as a response to the increasing difficulty with role playing with other members on site. The Journal's mission is to hopefully accomplish a system of self learning and discovery while also building a strong relationship with peers within the city-building community (Simtropolis).
Okaiken, now on its fourth version, is also a journal of journey. In the first two editions of the journal, the focus was on improving the city style to better emulate a world city that is close to perfection. This edition, however, breaks the conventions of typical journal writing because the main goal of this journal is to find a way of understanding the very basic attribute of happiness in life and what goes in between. It explore multiple dynamics of the effects of environment, landscape and planning in regards to the dynamic flow of individuals in between.
