THE NEW LOGOThe new logo of The Middle Way holds a lot of symbolism that is essential to our understanding of the City Journal. first, both the letter 'M' and the Kanji 中 (Middle) appear on the logo. This is to symbolize an outsider's viewpoint of Japan, while at the same time, symbolizing the direction of the City Journal, not too existential but also not too magical -- "The Middle Way". This new logo will replace the old logo located on the header of each update. NEW FONTThe Middle Way had been using a generic typeface since it was introduced in 2014 called "Bebas Neue". This year, The Middle Way is going to use one of the most easily recognized fonts in the world -- Helvetica Neue. This new font is much clearer than the currently used font. Backgrounds will also move from black (with white text) to white (with black text). This is to address the issue raised by members and patrons of this City Journal.
