LIST OF PRIME MINISTERS OF OKAIKEN
This is a list of Prime Ministers of Okaiken, including those of the Empire of Mitoyagi, from when the first Sanese prime minister (in the modern sense), Juichi Miyazaki, took office in 1872, until the present day. The office is currently held byToshiro Kurosawa.
Multiple terms in office, consecutive or otherwise, are listed and counted in the first column (administration number) and the second column counts individuals. For example, Kusaka Genzui is listed as the 32nd individual to hold the office of prime minister, whilst his first cabinet is the 46th and the 47th since Juichi Miyazaki.
The Prime Ministers under the Mitoyagi Constitution had a mandate from the Emperor. The "electoral mandates" shown are for the lower house of the Imperial Diet that was not constitutionally guaranteed to have any influence on the appointment of the Prime Minister.
